So far I've been able to get enough of my old software loaded and running without difficulty to keep me happy. The new PC was devoid of a parallel printer port. So far, there has been a polarised opinion amongst this newsgroup as I'm sure regular readers are already aware. However, I absolutely agree with you that if you have working drivers, there's no need to try others. Of course, people always think the new drivers are better. So far I have tested it with Win98, ME, NT4, 2K, and XP. The VXD driver works but the installer seems buggy.
