Yes, I know there are sound card APIs for MS-DOS games as well, but this doesn't seem to stop MS-DOS games from supporting mainly only SB16. c) I want to use DriveSpace3 and hard drive cache programs, but many MS-DOS games don't want to work with them. Get off the guys back if you can't provide POSITIVE feedback, or perhaps you'd care to develop drivers yourself ? The doom3 alpha is in any way far more interesting because of that. Right now, with my card [see above] I get about 60-70 fps with properly tweaked settings in so they shouldn't have clocked it as high as they did, instead of working so hard to get the specs higher, they should have been working on drivers.
